My name is Commissar Ciaphas Cain. I’ve served with the Imperial Guard in the service of The Imperium of Man for a few decades, so you could say I’ve got a little combat experience under my belt. My regiment's faced everything from monstrous Tyranids to system pirates across the galactic segmentums. I know a thing or two about tactics, as well.

These are highly unusual circumstances, I'm sure we can all agree. But my duty as such was to protect humanity from danger, and to look after those under my charge. I see no reason why that should change now.
