FYI I've cut Setsuna's comm off. I got notice of suspicious activity that happened during a time she was out cold in the Infitmary. Seems like our unwelcome guest on the rig was smart enough to snatch at least one comm instead of wrecking them all.

That comm is now completely cut off from the network so it no longer has access.

We should maybe take this as a lesson for the future, given the possible access unwelcome parties can have. Everyone should keep an eye out and make sure everyone walks away with their comm from any altercation - or make sure the comm is now least busted parts. Because if they go missing, I can cut them off. We've apparently got crafty bad guys willing to make use of any comms they can snag.

Anyway, now that that's out of the way, you've all apparently got some planning to do to take out you know who.

Time to get crackin'.

Well, when it comes to resources, I do have some ranged attack capabilities. Agent Washington's seen their effectiveness. If worse should come to worst, I also have a small nuclear reactor that could be detonated in her vicinity, but doing so would be... unfortunate.

Finally, I have a... [ugh] magic time-stopping watch that I'd planned on deploying should I ever meet this Rose Tattoo.

Alia, a question. With your lab access, do you think you can steal enough components for us to create beacons that could push an emergency locator ping to everyone's comms?

This Rose Tattoo likes to destroy comms, so a more discreet way to signal for help wouldn't be remiss. And as it might not be easy to lure her into a specific trap, we should anticipate potentially turning a random attack into the trap by everyone converging on the situation when suitably notified that someone is in peril.

If anyone is attacked, they can lead her towards where the sigils are hidden.

I know some people are going to object on principle, but Kenzie and I are quite literally born to be very good at doing a lot of contained violence very quickly while working together. If we can arrange an ambush, I like our odds against her.

I've also got a stopwatch like Alia mentioned having.

It will difficult to lure her into an area with the sigils if they're easily visible. However, I have noticed there are black lights in some of the maintenance closets, most likely used for detection of refrigerant leaks. The UV filters in them can potentially be laced into the rig lights in one of the hallways.

There are also various cleaning agents and other chemicals most likely used for minor repairs of the rig. With the chemicals available, I believe it would be possible to synthesize an agent that could effectively be used as a fluorescent paint that's mostly clear when not under a black light.

I would need help procuring what's necessary, however. If the supplies are all stolen from the same maintenance closet, our theft will be more easily noticed.

We should do a formal inventory. Obviously, don't list every bit of contraband you have because it's most secure if we only share what we need to share.

But we should see what we're working with, like any improvised weapons. Also it seems like people are getting weird...presents? From someone? Have some of you gotten anything that might be useful here?

I've been in and out of the Infirmary since they let me out. I saw you get carried in. You were SI. There are other people here with an edge that will let them survive.

I understand wanting to get back in the fight but none of us should let our pride get in the way if we'd just be a liability.

I wasn't kidding when I said that I liked mine and Kenzie's odds in an ambush. I'm cautious when it comes to hand-to-hand combat situations because I don't need any more scars I can't explain to my family, but I'm pretty sure I could have done a lot of damage to her if I hadn't called attention to myself first. Add in Kenzie for the assist -- or vice versa -- and her not seeing us coming and we could easily be in "dead before she hits the floor in several pieces" territory.

If she's been reading the network, I'm probably out as bait. Which sucks, I make great bait.

I think we're all getting back to the circular argument about who should and shouldn't be bait. We've discussed this before and didn't come up with an acceptable solution.

[That is to say, they didn't agree to let the humans stay out of danger while Alia and the other nonhumans played bait.]

We've also since established that we can't predict where she'll be. If any of us run into her, it will be by pure accident. This isn't a case where you can just tie a box of cheap beer to a rope and drag it through the streets of Harrison singing Deutschland, Deutschland über alles in hopes of attracting white trash. We all need to prepare to be targets.

So you people trying to tell her that making a target of herself is foolish can hush, too. It's not like any of us has a choice about that, it's just about pure chance.

I can generate a field that will completely block an attack against anyone in my close vicinity, but I can only hold it for a few seconds. Then I need some time to get my strength back for it.

If we can form a plan we're confident will put out enough damage to neutralize her quickly, I could give us the chance to unload. But in a prolonged fight, I'm...unlikely to do well.

I keep forgetting that we have these things. Mostly because, most of the time, they seem pretty useless.

I've got two things that might be of use. I have a Hand of Glory. Which is an item that, when the candle is lit, slows down enemies significantly. It only lasts for 5 minutes, but...if we haven't gotten her down in five minutes, we're shit out of luck.

I also have a damp sweatsuit. Which is basically what it says on the box. But if you wear it for a few hours, you can throw it and it causes a cloud of stench that induces incredible nausea. Could also be useful.
