I'm not sure how i came to be here, but now that I am I'll be doing my best to fit in and pitch in where I can, and I hope that we'll be able to work together in the future!

I hope that doesn’t mean we’re all dead. Doesn’t sound that way, but I think it’s probably the only way you’d get them to completely stop discriminating on genes. Some of them kill kids that used to be mutants.

[There's a long moment of silence as Remy absorbs that bit of information. He sits back, giving the comm a serious look as Ric obviously reconsiders every one of his life choices today.]

[Remy sits back, steepling his hands in front of his face. He has nothing in hand, which is probably a good thing. It keeps him from showing just how off kilter he's feeling.]

[His mouth opens a couple of times before closing again, one hand falling away before he rubs his face.]

[He blows out a breath, offering Ric a half smile. It doesn't reach beyond his mouth, but it's a peace offering. Because, yeah. It's about that way.]

[At least Ric didn't add that Sinister was on the island as well. That might not have ended quite as well.]
