Instructions were unclear: dog got turned into a chair
"Oh, um, hello everyone." Jennifer greets awkwardly while trying to set the frame properly "I haven't really practised using this thing so I'm getting to it now. It's like a typewriter and a projector mixed together, so it's a bit difficult. Can you hear me? I can't-- I can't hear you. Hello?"
The hard light hologram of Brown barks behind her as she had summoned him to spend time together. She turns slightly and opens her arms.
"Brown? Come!"
The dog wags its tail and happily walks towards her. She kneels to hugs him.
"Good boy!" she smiles genuinely, then shoots a quick glance to the device still filming her "Ah yes, I should get him some treats."
Jennifer gets up again and nods towards the door hole.
"I'm going to get you something, Brown, you wait here, okay?"
Brown barks in response.
"Come on, Brown. Sit!" she shakes her head and corrects herself because Brown isn't used to that command "I mean, stay."
She freezes for a moment, notices that the dog is gone.
"...Brown?"
A chair that wasn't there until now starts shuffling. She looks near it to see if he's there.
"Where are you?"
The chair barks back at her, jolting up as it does so. Jennifer gasps audibly.
"BROWN?! BROWN, DID YOU TURN INTO A CHAIR?!"
The chair barks again.
"HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?! HOW DO I UNDO IT?!" she flails around frantically with no criteria whatsoever, until she starts pressing every button on the keyboard "Did the typewriter do it?! HELLO?! DOES ANYONE HEAR ME?! HELLO?!" she whines desperately, and hilariously "MY GOOD BOY TURNED INTO A CHAIR!"

There are few things that threatened him so much as something hurting his cat. If something's going around messing with dogs, they have to put a stop to it.

The chair growls.
"Um."
Jennifer ponders over this for a second, then takes off her shoe and throws it further in the room.
"Fetch!"
The chair barks and runs (????????) on its legs, shuffling and squeaking as it does so.
"Do you...Do you see it too or did someone put something in my tea?"
The chair turns back to stare at her, with a slightly menacing cracking noise.
"Um...Brown? What would you do if I asked you to--"
No, that's silly, it's impossible.
"Brown, can you sit?"
The chair falls over.
"OH MY GOD."

And sit.
After a moment, he whispers to a squirming Niels, “you’re not leaving until we figure this out.”
He looks back at the camera, suddenly alarmed. “Uh - I just remembered that the Stuff made the furniture go in attack mode awhile back. I had to fight off a conference table with Doreen.”
These are things that simply happen. “Are you sure that that’s your dog?”

She says with a strangely nonchalant tone. Then she realizes and she gets sad.
"This is a memory of him, it manifests as a hologram. It automatically turns off after half an hour."

On one hand, there isn’t a random wave of Stuff energy tearing through the rig turning pets into inanimate objects. He can breathe a little easier and loosen up his grip on Niels, who darts off in a puff of tiny energy balls.
On the other, there is something deeply unsettling about how she explains about a dead dog hologram turning into a chair.
“Is that your power, or is it tech?”

Chair!Brown shuffles in what might be the equivalent of an approving nod.
"I also have a power where I turn scary things into rag dolls. It's helped me so far."

Robbie will pass on partaking in whatever creepy summoning effect she does, for multiple reasons. Surprisingly, not the least of which is 'I really don't want to hear my friends' voices coming out of throw pillows or whatever'.
"Into... rag dolls? Like permanently? What if it's only a temporarily scary thing, like someone startled you?"

She looks down at the chair. It shuffles again.
"I may have to train with talking to the chair before trying mediumship."
