[Locked to New Hires] [Backdated to the evening after Planker/the 'riot']
[Remy's kicked back on one of the beds in his room, comm on hover as he shuffles a set of cards carelessly. The kind of movement that's used by people trying to deal with left over energy.]
Merci beaucoup for de distraction, mes amis. Made gettin' in an' outta de Executive Deck a lot easier.
[Did people know that there was a group breaking into the Exec deck? A few. Saturday certainly implied that there were folks who knew about it, at least.]
Got some interestin' bits of info an' kit, too.

Main t'in' my group foun' was an exec dat takes de 'no fraternization' policy 'bout as serious as mos' of us do. Wit' a bit of a twist, 'cause she's got quite a few folks dat she's havin' fun wit'. Only dey don' know 'bout one 'nother, hein?
[And that's the problem he has with it. Fine with the rest of it, but don't be an asshole about stringing people along.]
If not'in' else, dis is de kin'a info mos' folks'd do a lot to keep outta de wrong hands. Might be useful for gettin' more info at a later date.
[Also no problems with blackmail. Not in an instance like this, at least.]
[Then again, he's not the one getting blackmailed.]

Excuse me?

Basically, she's stringin' 'long a few folks while taking... [He makes a considering sound at the back of his throat.] Intimate and possibly incriminatin' pictures of dem. An' she's quite pro'ly havin' intimate relations with all of 'em. Dat part, I ain't got a pro'lem with, but she doesn't seem to have told dem 'bout each other.

That kind of dishonesty could get someone in trouble, could it not?
[ Loken sounds amused at the prospect. ]

[And is far more likely the way that Remy would go. Letting Jorgmund know about it would get everybody involved in trouble, after all. No need for that.]

[ He looks a bit strangled saying that, but it's about as good an endorsement as you're going to get from the stuffy Space Marine. ]

[Remy's been on the other side of that one a few too many times himself.]
Still. We wanna survive an' get outta dis, sometimes you use weapons dat leave a bad taste in your mouth, hein?

He thinks for a moment. "How would it be best to disseminate the information to cause maximum disruption?"

The woman is also absent-minded as fuck. Her desk is a mess of post-its full of fucking passwords and other shit. We tried her computer but it was no fuckin' use with so many to pick from, we had to bail.
Seriously, I don't think she's ever thrown a post-it note out in her life.
Makes her a prime fuckin' target for that password scam Lonestar proposed if we ever needed that, but she's also not an important scientist or some shit, so. Least there's the fuckin' book.

On my end, I found some old files on our friend Bey. Redacted to shit, but near as I can gather he used to work for this joint. There was some kinda blow up, over some town they wanted to take over - he objected t'either the methods or the motives, ain't clear which - an' he fucked off. I'd be interested in the details around that.
[She then turns the comm's camera to show an open crate of six glass bottles, filled with amber liquid.]
In terms of door prizes, though, I think I got a good haul. This is twelve bottles of 1792 Ridgemont reserve bourbon. I get two 'cause I found it, everyone on the run gets one, that leaves six goin' out first come, first served, one per customer.

Good work, by the way. I don’t think I said congratulations.

[She's modest, but a grin of broad pride spreads across her face.

[Shelley's grin certainly hints there's going to be some great stuff to show! Which is why, after looking around to make sure there's nobody around eavesdropping, she talks]
Now I'm going to try to be subtle for once in my life here because this is big, so play along with me. York and I managed to stumble upon a certain little trinket we all have. [She taps her neck a few times] Very high tech, very valuable, and certainly very illegal for us to have. Torture-you-for-a-while illegal.
If there's someone who can analyze it then I think that's going to be a huge step forward to not being at risk of electrocution.
[Was she too subtle? Not subtle enough? Hell if Shelley knows. She's too used to being in-your-face, even during infiltrations and the such]
Other than that York and his hacker partner managed to copy a drive full of data of potentially dubious relevance, but you never know what can be useful. It's worth a check.
