We got a loose definition of what a demon is across the different dimensions here, but I didn't smell anything from my world that'd call itself demonic, and no sulphur, which Sam tells me indicates a demon where he's from. Same problem with the gods there, too, any of the ones I know would just do their own work.

But again, if I were putting down money - this is an ancient, powerful predator, so an incarnation of a concept or an elementary spirit or some other world's god isn't out of the question. I'm not leaning towards a demon here.
