Howdy folks. Name's Greg Saunders. I'm a country singer by trade and, since it'll probably hurt more'n it helps to keep it under wraps, I'm also a member of the Justice League. Which means I'm a superhero, for those of you who don't who we are.

Folks call me Vigilante. No powers, but I'm good with a gun, same with a lasso, and I throw a decent punch.

Nice to meet y'all. I wish it could be under better circumstances, but if I'm honest that ain't exactly new for me.

Only so much the government can handle on it's own, ma'am. And we certainly cooperate with 'em when necessary.

Course, sometimes they can be the problem themselves. I once got beat up by a four-star general with a chip on his shoulder who thought it was a good idea to air out his problems with us by injecting himself with an experimental Nazi super-soldier serum and and attacking a crowded parade.

Of course.

But it also depends on how you and your league define "justice".

Well, I can't exactly speak for the entire League. We all got our own individual ideas on that even if we tend to agree on the big picture stuff.

But if it helps any, killin' people, or even makin' a deliberate effort to? Is usually grounds for expulsion outside of some very extreme circumstances.

We like makin' sure the criminals we capture face their just desserts in a fair court of law, not by our hands.

Sometimes people need to be killed.

[ Very rarely, true. But some people do have to be killed. At least as far as she's concerned. ]

Sounds admirable enough, of course.

Ain't exactly arguin' against that. But the League deciding who needs to be killed would cause a whole lot more problems than it would solve for dang near everybody.

It's best if we don't open that particular can of worms.
