I've been here a little while and I've read back a lot of the stuff on the network.

Some of you are smart enough that you'll figure out who I am immediately but, I have to ask — really? Really??

You get on this network and you talk about your old lives like no one you know from back where you came from is going to show up and ruin everything for you.

And you talk like you don’t expect these Jorgmund people to hold some of that stuff over your head, either.

I’m sorry, but I’m a lot more private than that. You know? I’m smarter than that. I’m not willing to ruin everything by talking too much.

PS – Anyone who guesses who I am gets one of those shitty beers from the cafeteria dumped over their head. Mind your business.

As other people have said, a lot of the things we share here are common knowledge back home. Or, if they're not common knowledge, they're necessary for the other people stuck her with us to understand us, which can be vitally important in the situations Jorgmund tosses us into. As for an enemy showing up from home, well, that's gonna depend on how effective they are with a zap collar of their very own, isn't it?

It's been pointed out already that this network is only secure from Jorgmund if none of us tattles. So far, everyone's kept it from them. If you've got security suggestions, I'm sure Lonestar would be happy to either take them or explain why they're not feasible at this time.

If it helps, getting dragged through reality could very well block him off from some of his power. Some people got abilities when they arrived here, others had abilties they'd previously had taken away.

Glad I could help. If you're taking constructive criticism, one thing I've learned is that asking questions tends to go over better as an introduction. Unless that question is "what the fuck is wrong with you", I've tried that one and it goes over badly most of the time.

Most people here are willing to give new arrivals a bit of leeway, because we get that the on-boarding process is traumatic, but it's still a little irritating to be called idiot right out of the gate.
