[Saturday is rubbing sleep from her face as she talks, hair disheveled and her bunk in the background. The sounds is slightly unsynced, just enough to be annoying, and the image is tinted purple. Still, it's coherent]
Hey, crew. We've all had a real fucking night an' I'm sorry to add more, but this might be useful. I think I just a clue from like, some kinda supernatural dream-traveling hint-dispenser? Called themselves Cain and Abel, gave me a choice between a secret and a mystery, I picked mystery 'cause it meant I could tell you guys about it.
Man, I hope this sounds familiar to someone.
It was Cain I talked to, he told me a story about two brothers who uh - fuckin' hell - one killed the other because they were both in love with some invisible chick named Bell but she hadn't picked him. Their parents thought the one brother just flipped out and did murder for some fuckin' reason, because they thought Belle was fictional? Someone who knows what they're doing, start asking me some questions because I don't know how this is supposed to be relevant, but the dude said it was and he was for real. I got some experience an' I know when the dream I'm having didn't come outta my own head.

Re: video;
Ain't the first time, Catra. There's some kindsa people and entities and shit out there that can't talk to you except in your own head, like.
Re: video;
[ Ughhh. She looks distinctly miserable from her infirmary bed. ]
I don't have a clue what the dream was talking about in this case.

[Sam's managing to hide a grimace, at least, as he turns on the video.]
I mean. Cain wasn't that far off of describing his own story. Or, at least, the story that I know from my own world about Cain and Abel.
Did Cain describe this Belle at all?
Re: [Video]
[She shakes her head at his question]
The brothers were the only ones who saw her. They said she was beautiful; the story said she left behind footprints that were definitely a woman's, no other kinda description to 'em.
Re: [Video]
[Sam goes quiet, scratching a few notes down.]
That's. Interesting. Especially when you think about the fact that, if she was a thoughtform of some sort, it might explain how she goes through walls.
Re: [Video]
I can't make any comments towards the supernatural, [and here she says it like a dirty word] but it does have some... rough analogues towards Abrahamic traditions.

Like I said. Translations are weird. Though, yeah, I've heard those stories as well.
Roughly, yeah. It's not perfect, but it's close enough that I'm not going to split hairs about it.
If this was home, I'd be considering it might be a tulpa. Which I'm really hoping it's not because those are a bitch and a half to deal with.
Re: [Video]
First murder? So it's like a creation story.
Frank and Joe. Sure. Okay.
And creation story in a way. Cain and Abel were two of the children of Adam and Eve. Biblically, the first people in the world. Though there's some contention about that because some of the translations say that Cain went to live among the people of Nod and if Adam and Eve were first, where did these other people come from?
[He makes a few more notes.] It's interesting that he'd choose that particular story, though, and telling it in that way.

It sounds like a parable.

[The cuts on his face needed stitches and are probably going to permanently scar.]
[He's had to reread things over and over for them to actually sink in. But he's got some of the basic information.]
[Something something Cain and Abel, something a parable for the first murder.]
Weapons. She was able to summon any weapon... she wanted.
She also... knew something.

But it was the right...ball park.
[He wasn't some kind of psycho that kept an exact running tally but...]
She knew how many people...I've killed. She whispered the number... and gave me a kiss on the cheek. Before dropping an elevator...and several grenades. On my head.

A number you'd thought you'd stopped keeping track of, right?

[That's definitely telling, then. It wasn't just a wild guess.]
I don't keep a running tally. I'm not a sicko. But...
A part of you keeps track. Especially when...you think about the choices you've made. And if all of them...were necessary.

But, if I had to make a rough guess, it's probably pretty accurate?

[Also, you know, having the biblical inventor of murder hanging out in your head is probably a bad thing.]
Re: video
If that was the case this'd gotten sent to a lot fewer people. It was a visit, 'sall. I don't understand most of it so I've just been trynna remember it.
