007: AMAs, Third Round

So, we've got a load of new people, and that means it's time for me to do the only thing it feels like I get on these comms to do anymore: AMAs.

For you new people, I find it helps when we get together and explain a little bit about ourselves, any powers we have, and our skillsets. That way we know what we're starting with and what we can build off of. So, please, come and introduce yourselves and be willing to answer questions.

I did the last one of these, but for anyone new who's shown up, I'm Rune Saint John. My specialties are magic, investigation, and pest control. Said pests are usually of the monstrous-slash-magical persuasion, but I've got experience with all kinds of things and people that've tried to kill me. I'm a bit crippled at the moment magically, since Jorgmund keeps my primary tools under lock and key outside of missions, so if I'm less than optimally helpful sometimes you can blame them.

Also: not human. I'm a New Atlantis native, if that means anything to anyone.

Oh, and Brand's my partner. He's nicer than he looks. And he's probably going to get pissed at me for sharing details here, but we're a little beyond that point now anyway.

To be fair, nicer is comparative, not absolute. So you could be nicer than you appear without being considered, objectively, nice.

[Sprawled on Brand's bed, Rune's just listening to this and looking way too smug while Brand isn't looking. So of course, he's gotta prod Brand in the side with a toe.]

What was it you said again...? "No more people we'd fight a lich for" or something like that?

[Brand shoots a glare at Rune, swatting at the offending foot.]

I can hold a conversation with a teenager without fighting a lich for her. Or, for that matter, standing heroically over her prone body while I fight a gargoyle.

[Oh, you wanna go, Rune? Let's go. Brand maintains eye-contact with the other man on the bed, but raises his voice to be heard over whatever protests Rune might make:]

Rune lets his five-year-old cousin talk him into naptime.

As much as I support the motion for ice cream, I don't think you actually understand how ice cream is made.
