007: AMAs, Third Round

So, we've got a load of new people, and that means it's time for me to do the only thing it feels like I get on these comms to do anymore: AMAs.

For you new people, I find it helps when we get together and explain a little bit about ourselves, any powers we have, and our skillsets. That way we know what we're starting with and what we can build off of. So, please, come and introduce yourselves and be willing to answer questions.

Okay. So I'm Tucker. I'm basically a badass space marine. But like, a reasonable level of badass space marine. The Gen Ed with no major of soldiering. I do whatever. Running and shooting. Missions. Standing around and talking. If you wanna talk time travel, don't do it to me.

I've got a cool alien sword that only works for me. Jorgmund confiscated that for missions only. I've got standard issue power armor, which Jorgmund also confiscated for missions only. Total narcs.

Oh, shit, I guess technically I was an alien ambassador for a while. Which was cool until it tanked.

Uh, I've got a kid? Which isn't relevant to this whole situation, but is relevant to letting you all know he's more awesome than any of your kids.

And yet, at the same time, completely understand the compulsion to say so.

Do you have any pictures? I was fortunate enough to be able to transfer a few pictures of my son off my omnicom to my comm device the last time I was allowed to have it.

Ugh, I wish I had a picture. I've usually got one in my armor, but I gotta wait until they decide some mission is worth giving it back before I can even see if it's there. What am I gonna do, 4x6 glossy someone to death? Please. I'm classier than that.

Uhhhhh. Well, it's standard-issue. Body armor, helmet, air filter, environmental controls. One time I got my ass handed to me with a rocket launcher and I didn't die, so that's a good selling point. Plus it's a really kickass aqua. Blue Team perks.

Mine is.. white. It was grey once, and for a time it was a sea green, but I have found it most comforting in white. How does your armor interface with you? Does it have a black carapace? Other neural interface methods?

It's got a basic HUD readout. I mostly ignore that, though. You lean too much on the tech stuff, it really bites you on the ass.

I mean, that's not why I don't really know enough about how it works or gets put together to help you out with those questions. I probably just didn't pay attention when I got briefed. But I think it's true anyway.
