[During a lull in the party, Armstrong taps out a quick message to the network. Not that private one, he doesn't trust it. They can answer whenever they like, so long as he gets an answer. The trick would be wording it.]

So, we're all in this for now. You've had your welcome cake, but you can't meet everyone in a party, no matter how hard you try. But, since we've all been encouraged to sign up with Jorgmund, I figured now would be a good time to get some introductions done. Talk about any specialties we might have.

Share information that we feel comfortable sharing. This isn't to pressure anyone or to force out any dark secrets.

[Not where watchful eyes can see, at least.]

Besides, I prefer doing this to making a cute information sharing game.

So, please, make your own threads within this post to keep everything organized.

Sound's more like skinwalkers to me. Though they don't always kill the people who they look like. Mostly they take on the look of somebody else. Kind of a problem if they decide to look like you and start killing people. Nothing specific that I can think of. It's usually something that we come across as a way to either break a curse or maybe find something.

no they're definitely bug spirits. skinwalkers eat people they kill and assume their form. bug spirits are fucked up things from outside the deep astral, like uhhhhh that one guy with the tentacles. lovecraft.

oh. my best friend is a mage and her favorite spell is stunball.

Cthulhu. Dead and lies dreaming. I was never a big fan of Lovecraft. Even fucked up shit in my life already. Also, racist as fuck. Yeah, no real mages in my world. [He hasn't met Rowena yet, after all.] Back home, a lot of people trade their souls to demons in order to be able to do magic. Though there are some witches and the like back home, too.

i mean people can made really weird and awful deals with spirits. that happens to us, too. or a spirit goes toxic and gets worshippers who trade it stuff for power.

we have a lot of magic stuff i guess.

It really does sound like a lot of magic in your world, yeah.

I suppose you wouldn't, no. Just like I'm sure there are worlds out there without the stuff I hunt as well, but I can't really imagine them.

i mean there is a vampire and a werewolf here but they're both pretty chill people and don't do indiscriminate murder.

I know vampires back home that don't indiscriminately murder, too. Werewolves that I know of, though, don't actually have a choice in the matter. The wolf and the human are entirely separate and the human doesn't know what's happening. But the wolf still kills people which is why we have to take them out. Stacia is a very different sort. I met her in the gym already.

Not sure I'd go with cool. But I've been doing this a long time.

dealing with fucked up dangerous magical shit is emphatically never cool or fun, i am not confused on this point

Ah, fair enough. You are...not wrong. Really not wrong. As for Stacia and Kevin, though. They're people, just like the rest of us. Here for the same reasons. No reason for me to go making things worse for everybody, right?

anyway its like... some moments are cool or fun but they never like. balance out the rest.

There's definitely not enough of them. Anyway, better not to go borrowing trouble. We're going to have enough as it is.
